Install

This page describes what happens from module installation to the end of the first setup wizard.

Use platform pages for exact menu paths and buttons.

Installation flow

1. Install the plugin/module in your platform admin.
2. Open the Kea Labs configuration screen.
3. Sign in or create your account if prompted.
4. Start the setup wizard.

At this point, search is still not live for shoppers.

Wizard steps and what they mean

1) Welcome

Short intro to the setup flow.

2) Choose Experience

You choose the storefront mode:

• Search Widget
• Classic Results Page
• Widget + Results Page

3) Search Interface

You configure interface behavior and integration points for the selected mode.

4) Theme & Integration

You review where search attaches on your storefront and set base theme colors. Saving this step marks integration as ready for preview build.

5) Build & Preview

The wizard checks plugin state and starts the preview build when setup is ready. When successful, you get Open Preview and can continue to Home.

If you close the wizard in the middle

The wizard resumes from plugin-owned checkpoints (mode_selected, integration_step_completed, preview_built). You do not need to restart from the first screen.
