Onboarding

This section explains the real setup path for Kea Labs: install, run the wizard, test in Preview, then enable Live mode.

Onboarding in one minute

1. Install the plugin/module in your platform: Install
2. Run setup and build preview in the wizard.
3. Test storefront behavior in Preview mode: Verify in Preview
4. Enable Live mode for shoppers: Go Live

If something does not work, use Troubleshooting.

What you see in the setup wizard

The current wizard flow has five steps:

1. Welcome
2. Choose Experience
3. Search Interface
4. Theme & Integration
5. Build & Preview

In practice:

• you choose how search appears (Search Widget, Classic Results Page, or Widget + Results Page),
• configure integration points and theme,
• the wizard builds preview assets,
• then you can open storefront preview safely before going live.

Preview vs Live

• Preview means changes are visible only in your current browser session.
• Live means search is enabled for shoppers.

Use Preview to test behavior and styling first. Turn on Live only after preview checks pass.
